I know investing in therapy is a big decision—emotionally and financially—and I want to be as transparent as possible.
You also have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining the cost of services. This is part of the No Surprises Act, which helps you understand what you can expect to pay—no hidden fees or guesswork. I’m happy to provide this upon request.
Therapy is a commitment to yourself—and I’ll do my best to make it a supportive, empowering, and financially manageable one.
Yes, I provide both telehealth and in-person sessions. You can choose the option that works best for you!
Sessions are typically 50 minutes long. The frequency of sessions can vary based on your needs and goals, but most folks meet once a week or biweekly, especially at the start. We can adjust the schedule as you progress in therapy.
How long therapy will take, depends on your goals, the depth of what you are working through, and the consistency of your sessions. Some clients attend for a few months to focus on a specific issue while others stay longer for deeper, more ongoing support. Progress also depends on the effort and reflection you bring to the process. Therapy works best when its an active partnership, and we will check in regularly to make sure we are meeting your goals.
If you’re ready to start or would like to learn more, please fill out the contact form or reach out through my Psychology Today profile. You can also book a consultation or appointment directly by clicking 'Book Appointment.' I offer a free discovery call where we can chat briefly to see if we’re a good fit before scheduling a full session. I look forward to connecting with you soon!
The first session is about building trust, understanding your needs, and setting a foundation for our work together. It’s okay if you don’t have everything figured out or if you feel nervous—this is a safe space.
I offer individual outpatient counseling. I incorporate a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Brainspotting, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). My work is person-centered, and I also incorporate an Adlerian approach to help you feel empowered and foster self-esteem. I specialize in supporting individuals dealing with Complex PTSD and offer LGBTQ-affirming care.
Yes, therapy is confidential. What you share during sessions is protected by confidentiality laws. There are a few exceptions, such as if there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, or if required by law. I will explain these in more detail during our first session to ensure you feel comfortable and informed.
